Food & drink

I've since learned to cook, but also I don't enjoy it so I'm not going to be doing any for the con. So you're on your own here. Sorry if you were expecting Seadragom's Famous Seaside Scarborough Gumbo because I've spent the last six CabinCons (CabinsCon?) telling you you aren't having any. It doesn't exist and I don't even like seafood.

We will, however, be bringing along some basic party food. There will be vegetarian, vegan and lactose-free options for those who require them, and if you have any other dietary issues, please let us know ahead of time (this is why registering ahead of time is really helpful!).

Anyway, shops-wise there's a convenience store and a café around the corner, and you're very welcome to use the ovens and other cooking facilities within the chalets, or even order out if you like. We'd recommend bringing along some general snacks and drinks and stuff - this event is BYOB. If you use them though, you will need to clean up after yourself, so bring some sponges and Fairy liquid.

Please drink responsibly - alcohol is permitted within the cabins but please for god's sake drink responsibly, we don't want to have to call an ambulance on you or for you to make a fool of yourself in front of the Morris Dancers again.
